Q: Did a motor swap on a volvo 740 1989, to a 86 760 turbo. Tranny and all..won't crank. Did before swapped it into 740.. checked all

Swapped a 1989 volvo 740 gl with 1986 760 turbo. The 760 started before swap. Now clicking occurs in Shifter in floor. No sensors besides parking break. Checked all grounds. The ecu's have 5 wire difference so kept old ecu in just to see if will crank but not start. But does neither. What could be the reason it won't crank? Not worried about no start issue with wrong ecu.
