Q: Code P0171

asked by on May 21, 2017

2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ext I just got my fuel tank replace and fuel pump just 3 days ago. Going to work yesterday, while driving, my check engine light came back on. So, I work at Westwind drive-in movie theaters on Carey and Rancho. I turned into my job and I have a long ramp to get to my job and it stall on me and turned off. I tried to turn it on and it took a while to turn on and start driving. Once I put pressure on the gas pedal, it stall again and turned off again. Once I was off work last night, one of my coworkers has a scanner code for the car. Scanner the car and the code P0171 and P0440 came up. The reason why I got the fuel tank replace was because P0440 came up the first time. My fuel tank was cracked and fuel pump seal was corroded. Turning on the car is not problem, but once I put it on to drive,it begins to stall.

My car has 171000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
