Q: Car stops accelerating, continues after lifting off gas pedal. Eventually TCC light comes on.
I'll be driving and all of the sudden the car goes to idle while I'm pressing down the accelerator. I can press it all the way to the ground and nothing happens. I then lift my foot off the accelerator and reapply pressure and it accelerates or responds appropriately. After about 20 mins of the car doing this the TCC light comes on and I can't turn TCC off and I can't use my cruise control at all during this entire process.
