Q: Car stalling after a only few minutes

asked by on

I have a new battery and a refurbished alternator. The battery will not stay charged, with the car only running for a few minutes before stalling.

The alternator may not be charging even though it is remanufactured. The charging system main fuses may also be blown and would need to be checked. I recommend you have a mechanic, like ones from YourMechanic, come by and inspect your vehicle’s stalling issues.
