Q: Car doesn't accelerate

I just changed my transmission it was used and i put a new torque converter in there I changed it because of the acceleration problem but found a hole in the transmission so it needed to be changed anyway Well now the car turns on fine everything is good shift is good but it Tugs especially in reverse as in the engine mostly a motor mount, Well when you put it in D4 it goes slow about only 10mph pedal all the way down and the rpm go up also when i have it on D1 it runs better then D4 but still accelerates slow and doesn't go over like 40 , rpm just goes back and forth also the mph doesn't work i dont know why wasnt like that before the transmission change. thought the transmission was the problem in the acceleration ...could it be the tsp ? Need the problem solve fast ill appreciate it
