We have replaced the master cylinder, all new brake lines, new brake booster, new calipers and new brakes all around. We still have a spongy brake pedal. Bleeding the brakes does nothing. Abs light is on, engine light is on, gas gauge doesn't work and low coolant light is on. Truck runs fine, coolant isn't low and half a tank of gas. We have tried literally everything to get pressure in the brakes. Any suggestions?

Cars equipped with ABS often require remote actuation of the ABS system, using a bi-directional scan tool, in order to expel the trapped air in the valving and cylinders. That air may be the cause of the difficulty you are experiencing in bleeding the brakes. If you desire that this problem be diagnosed and resolved by a certified Mechanic, dispatched by YourMechanic right to your location, please request a spongy brake pedal diagnostic and the responding certified mechanic will get this resolved for you. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.
