Q: Can the impact from an airbag cause dents

asked by on February 26, 2017

My airbag was set off however I was not hit. There is now dents on the side of my car and there wasn't before. I don't know why it set off or why there is now dents

Hi there. It is not common for an air bag deployment to cause any damage outside of the vehicle; in fact, it’s virtually impossible. It is highly probable that these two issues are non-related.
