Q: Can't open hood

asked by on

Both rear door handles are broken on the outside.

Hi there. If the hood will not open then the cable may have broke. Try having someone push down and pull up on the hood while you pull on the hood release. It may just be jammed. If that does not help them the hood will need to be manually released. I do this by getting the car in the air and removing the lower skid panels in order to be able to access the hood latch. This is done with a long screwdriver. Once the hood is open the problem can be located and fixed.
