Q: Can my Transmission damage be cause by being t-boned at 60 mph?

Hello, I was wondering, if me being t-boned at 60mph in my lancer, could the damage to my transmission valve body and transmission pan being damaged? I was knocked over two lanes of traffic and My left tire was shredded and the axle/strut was damaged and had to be removed and replaced twice.

My car has 74000 miles.
