Q: Can i put a blow off valve without a turbocharger?

asked by on

Can i put a blow off valve without a turbocharger? And do they fit all cars?

My car has 124000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello. An actual blow off valve is only made for turbocharged vehicles. This is a functional part of a turbocharger to keep the vehicle from over boosting. If you are looking to get the blow-off valve sound then there are sources online that you can purchase these from. They do not provide any sort of performance increase, but only provide a change in the noise coming from the engine.
