Q: Can I get cheap outer tie rods to last me one year

asked by on

My outer tie rods are bad. Steering makes some noise and vehicle is shaky. Can I get by with cheap version tie rods from rockauto.com. I need to last them a year. I drive for Uber and a Limo Service and drive about 5000 miles a month. Will cheap tie rods be OK or should I get the best ones out there

My car has 115000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

If you decide to get tie rods from an aftermarket supplier they should be good enough quality to last more than a year. They should meet or exceed factory specifications.
