Q: Battery dead in car

asked by on

My battery is dead after the Service Engine light came on. AAA said it is either the transmission or the alternator.

A dead battery could be an indicator of a failed alternator or just an old battery. I would recommend having a certified mechanic test your battery and alternator to find the root cause of your problem, and get you back on the road safely.
