the first thing you should do is get the battery checked. it may not be dead, just a little low on power.

It's not low on power. Tons of juice. It lights up bright. When I can get a screen. No clicking like its trying to start.

I'm going to try to locate the programming key slot. this will let the car start if you put the key close to it.
remove everything from inside the center console. place the key fob in the center console and try to start.

Hello. I'm a customer of yours. Yall replaced my bulbs in headlights for my cadillac [srx](/topics-srx/). 2016. My cars alarm went off multiple times this morning. When I got in it cranked, the screen saying theft attempted. I drove it a few miles then parked it. Now it will not crank. The screens will come on sporadically and the doors will lock and unlock. I've had it jumped without any results. Should I disconnect the positive from the battery and reconnect? Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the fuses? Have you checked the bulbs? Lights turn on. Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your SRX yourself? What have you tried so far? Had a person come to jump start the car. Didnt work. His car was of low voltage battery. The battery is not dead.
