Q: AC and heat not working

asked by on

The AC and heat is not working.

Hi. Does the fan make any noise when you turn either on? If the fan comes on but no air comes out, something is wrong with the blower door that controls which direction the warm or cold air flows. It is possible for the door to completely block all passages not letting any air get through into the cabin. If the fans don’t turn on, the fuses, relays, dials, and fan itself should be inspected further. If you need further assistance, I recommend you have a certified technician, like one from YourMechanic, inspect the air conditioning system and suggest an appropriate repair.
