Answers to common Mitsubishi 3000GT questions

Q: Car starts extremely slowly
Answered by Blake
Hello! I will be happy to help you. I suspect that your starter maybe going bad or you have a loose ground connection somewhere. I suggest that you have a technician test your starter (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-starter), alternator (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-test-your-alternator_2), and battery (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-check-a-car-battery)....
Q: Engine shakes when fuel is added
Answered by Blake
Hello! If the rubber bushings and motor mounts (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-long-do-engine-motor-mounts-last) are really bad then it could cause a knocking noise. There should also be transmission mounts as well. I suggest to check out the motor mounts and transmission mounts for wear...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I found YourMechanic and Raul. I'm from out of town and didn't know who to contact to fix a truck I was borrowing. I searched the web and found YourMechanic.....thank goodness. I found Raul to be professional, an outstanding mechanic and the price was more than fair.

Milton was great! Called to let me know when he'd be arriving. Very friendly & very thorough with his explanations. Took his time to make sure, double, triple check that everything was running properly. Very pleasant experience!

Stephen was very professional and spoke to me in terms that I understood. Although the news about the car was not great, he explained the why's and what it would take to fix it. I will call on him again. Many thanks!
