While some people go ahead and throw just about anything and everything in the cargo area of their vehicle, others like to be a bit more careful and protect the area. Cargo mats are a wonderful way to keep the cargo section of your vehicle looking stylish, and clean. Sometimes these are referred to as trunk liners, depending on what you're looking for.

  • Whether you drive a sedan, minivan, SUV, or truck there is a cargo mat that will work for your vehicle. All you have to do in order to find the right one is know the make, model, and year of your vehicle. Typically the larger the cargo mat, the more expensive it will be.

  • Some cargo mats even have a raised lip, this is to make sure that any spills are contained and don't seep onto the interior. These can be custom-made to fit your vehicle specifically.

  • Look for a cargo mat that is easy to install, easy to clean, and provides some sort of warranty and guarantee regarding wear and tear. If spills are your major concern, look for a waterproof option.

  • Some cargo mats are designed to prevent your items from shifting around in the cargo space. These ones have surface that acts like a grip.
