If the wipers are still functioning even after you have used the switch to command them off, that means the switch supplying power is fused shut and/or the circuit is being powered when it is not supposed to be due to a wiring fault. To resolve an issue such as that, the circuit powering the wiper motor has to be traced, starting with the devices that should indeed be "off" if commanded off (such as the wiper switch, relay, etc.). If you want these steps performed by a certified Mechanic, dispatched by YourMechanic right to your location, please request an electrical circuit diagnostic and the responding certified mechanic will get this problem resolved for you. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.

Random misfire cylinder 123
I'm curious as to what codes are still active. Is it still a misfire code? Hi there. Have you checked for any problem codes, whether the Check Engine light is on or not? Those codes, if any, will expedite accurate diagnosis and lower cost to repair. I would check the fuel pump relay (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-pump-relay-replacement). The...

Would a broken AC compressor cause the serpentine belt to break? 2009 Saturn Outlook
Hi there, yes, the air conditioning compressor is capable of breaking the serpentine belt (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-replace-a-serpentine-belt-by-mia-bevacqua) a couple of ways. If the AC compressors seizes while operating, the shock load can snap the serpentine belt. If the AC clutch bearing seizes...
