Q: while driving is just stops...no crank or fuel

asked by on

while driving it just shuts off...gauges drop.... wont crank....for 10 minutes or 20 minutes and then ok for a few days

My car has 150000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Have the vehicle scanned to see if you are getting any codes. The problem sounds like a crankshaft sensor problem. The best way to diagnose the stalling problem is to have it tested or inspected when it happens to see if you are losing spark or fuel, and then identifying the cause from there.
