Q: What parts would I supply and how

asked by on September 05, 2017

I'm just curious about the option to supply my own parts I have a shop that would supply me parts for what they buy them. So they are way cheaper then retail. But I am unsure what parts I would need? Could I get a report on my car then go get them and have the mechanic work on it? Am I paying for that downtime? Should I just get my quote reschedule and pay the extra 80 for his install another day. (Sidenote: issue with car is it starts and dies instantly) ( sidenote 2 :I've installed all new filter and pump just unsure if they are attached correctly and I may not be able to prime it)

My car has 150200 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
