asked by on January 17, 2017

When driving for a little bit the lights just Bing and all of that is disingauge sometimes she I put my foot to the pedal and sometimes while just driving

My car has 200000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The ABS and traction control lights and stab-link may share inputs from different sensors like the wheel speed sensors. You would need to test all of the systems to see if they all have the same failure as an input from one of the wheel sensors.

Brake lights stuck on
Unfortunately the brake light switch has no adjustments. If it is faulty, it will need to be replaced again. My recommendation is to have a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, install a new brake light switch (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/brake-light-switch-replacement).
Possible clogged fuel filter
Hi there. While not common, clogged fuel filter can keep a vehicle from starting. For this to happen, the filter needs to be very clogged. If the filter is that clogged, the fuel pump is forced to work overtime to...
Fuel gauge stopped working and now gas tank won't let me pump more than a few gallons at a time.
The refueling problem is due to the fill pipe in the tank. The fill pipe has a smaller hose inside of the larger pipe which keeps you from overfilling the tank. If someone tried to siphon fuel from your vehicle...
Oil type - 1999 Toyota Camry
Hello. I would suggest not putting in 20w50 oil as it is too thick and can cause engine damage from tight areas of the engine that will not get oil. You should use 5w30 only (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/what-type-of-oil-should-i-use).
Battery being drained
Without knowing a make or model of the vehicle, it is impossible to narrow down the issue. Parasitic draws, or battery drain, doesn't have to come from the starting system. The problem can be anything electrical on the vehicle. Drains...
Are these oil leak problems related?

2007 bmw 335i serpentine belt keeps breaking
Hi There, It sounds like you may have a tensioner pulley (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/drive-belt-tensioner-replacement) that may have a worn out bearing that may be putting additional stress on the belt as it turns. The other possibility may be that the tensioner pulley...
My transmission keeps slipping and the cars shuts off completely while I am driving I need help
This may be a result of a faulty transmission control module. A faulty transmission control module may cause a delay in acceleration or erratic shifting of gears. The transmission control module has various sensors such as vehicle speed sensors, wheel...
