Q: Trunk popping open while driving

asked by on

My trunk keeps popping open while I am driving. I think it is an issue with the catch/lock.

It sounds like you are on the right track. The most common cause would be an issue with the locking assembly but if the car is equipped with a switch to open the trunk that could also be an issue. A certified technician will be able to diagnose the issue with your trunk.
