Q: Truck clicking, not starting

asked by on

My truck was running good. I went to start it and now it only clicks.

In many cases one can leave an accessory powered up and kill the vehicles battery. It is common for a vehicles starter to fail after some time and the symptoms would be similar to yours. Have an automotive technician, like one from YourMechanic, inspect the starting circuit and test why the battery is dead.
