Q: Transmission slipping
The transmission in my car is slipping.

Normally when I hear this complaint I check the level of the transmission fluid while the vehicle’s engine is running and the transmission is in Park. While checking the level I would inspect the oil that came off the dipstick and smell it to see if it’s burnt, suggesting a burnt clutch pack. Have a certified mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, inspect and tell you what your best options are.
