Q: Q: timing chain

asked by on

what other cars use the same timing chain kit as the 2011 camaro i was wanting to find one close to $100

My car has 8995 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there - Chevy produced the Camaro with half a dozen different engines for 2011 (both V6s and V8s). The good news is that these engines are shared across virtually all GM vehicles. The 8th digit of your vehicle identification number is the "engine code", which will guide you on finding compatible parts. Determine the engine designation for your car, then match timing chain kits.
