Q: Steering wheel not working

asked by on January 27, 2016

My steering wheel is not working.

There could be many reasons for why your steering wheel is no longer working in your 1991 GMC. The many reasons include issues with the steering column itself, the steering gear box, a failing arm or link that assists the wheel with turning, and more. Due to the information provided being so limited, I would highly recommend enlisting the help of a certified mechanic to properly diagnosis why your steering wheel is not responding.

The statements expressed above are only for informational purposes and should be independently verified. Please see our terms of service for more details
