Q: starter not turning over and is not big engine is a 360

asked by on

will not start

My car has 175000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

You will need to see if you are getting signal to the starter relay near the battery. This relay will activate the starter solenoid on the starter. The starter motor may stick if you hear it clicking but not turning. If this is the case, then replace the starter and also the relay on the fender near the battery.
