Q: Replace Brake Pads with Brake Rotors?
I need to get my brake rotors replaced because the steering wheel shakes when braking. Do I also need to replace the brake pads if they are in good condition? Thanks.
It is recommended t replace pads with the new rotors. The old rotors would of put grooves in the pads and caused them to not be flat anymore. If you decide to use the existing pads then you should sand them flat with sand paper to be smooth and flat. This way they will seat into the new rotors.
