Q: Oil light on

asked by on

I hear knocking, the oil pressure is not registering, and the oil light is on.

Hello. This could be an indication that your oil pump needs to be replaced. However, it could also indicate that your engine is going bad and needs to be replaced. I would recommend that you have a certified technician, like one from YourMechanic, come and diagnose your Oil Light in order to determine what exactly needs to be repaired on your truck.
