Q: My f150 1997 runs hot after adding 50/50 coolant and water in the coolant resevoir wat is wrong

My truck run hot i noticed the resevoir to the coolant was empty so i put the one gallon water i had in it i made it home after that the next day i put two containers of 50/50 coolant in it then topped it off with water then drove for 30 minutes it still runs hot wat is wrong with it what will fix it..
My car has an automatic transmission.
