Q: my automatic transmission slips into neutral after it warms up and wont go into drive even though the indicator is on D. i need to

when i start the car it runs and drives fine. after it warms up it will neutral out and will not move. right before it neutrals out there is a high pitch wining noise. thats how i knew to pull off. i must wait for it to cool down in order do drive it
