My car has 66000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello. The "mech error" message is displayed when it is detected that the 6-disc CD changer has had a mechanical problem. Usually this error means that the unit will need to be replaced with another. You may want to bring this into the dealer or an audio technician to see what can be done.
