Q: Loud banging noise when I put car into gear.

asked by on December 28, 2015

My car makes a loud bang when I put it into drive or reverse. Sounds like it might be the differential.

I would take the car to a mechanic that specialises in transmissions. They can determine if it is in the differential or the transmission.
