Q: Large EVAC leak.

asked by on

I'm showing a large EVAC leak code. I've ruled out the gas cap. What else could it be?

My car has 10800 miles.

Hello. If the gas cap is verified to be good, the most common culprits are the purge valve and charcoal canister. If you would need help having this checked, a certified technician from YourMechanic can come to your car’s location to diagnose the leak and help proceed with the proper repair.
