I'm so sorry you are having this issue with your Optima, I know it can be frustrating. Most likely the Hybrid battery is too discharged to start. The first thing that needs to be done is to scan the computer for trouble codes to find out why the check hybrid system warning is coming on. You shouldn't try to work on the hybrid system without the proper equipment, it is very high voltage and can be dangerous. I'd recommend getting it to a dealership. If you are under 60,000 miles you are still under the base warranty, and if you are the first owner or you purchased your Optima certified used from a Kia dealership you will still be under the power train warranty if your mileage is under 100,000.

Yes there are definitely Kia dealers in new mexico. Try calling that number and telling them the situation. They will dispatch a tow truck to you and bring it to the nearest dealership.
