Q: I have a Mazda 3 2.0 that shuts off after installing a new alternator and battery?

asked by on March 29, 2018

As I started the car in morning it was fine as I was driving for a good 10 miles. The radio turned off then turned on like if it was restarting. But then the battery and power steering wheel light turned on which made the wheel stiff but manageable to pull to the side. Once I parked the dashboard started turned off certain colors and started dimming down. Then the radio turned off again. So I turned off the car and gave it a min or 2. Then tried to turn it on and it wouldn't start. So I unplugged the battery gave it a sec then tried to start it again and still did the same thing. So I replaced the alternator and was able to drive for a day or 2 but then did it again all over. I tried starting it with a new battery with unplugging it with the negative to test and it still did the same thing. What can be the issue?

My car has 110000 miles.
