Thanks Tyson. As I said, all I’ve got is this electric charger to work with. Settings for manual, Automatic SLI, and Automatic Deep Cycle. I don’t know enough anything about hybrids, so I want to make sure I have this thing on the right setting

Deep cycle is typically for boats or golf cart batteries.
If battery is bad it would not charge though, i'd either jump start it or pull the 12v battery out and go to an autozone have it tested for free. I'd hate fore you to try to charge it for a few hours only to find out it's bad anyway.
The hybrid battery itself would not charge of the 12v being charged.

Ok. Anything in particular that needs to be done, or just disconnecting the cables? It’s my girls car, and she seems to have conveniently lost the manual. I don’t want to screw anything up

There is also a bolt and a bumper at base of batter holding it in place. usually a 13mm.
