How do I set park lock mode?

When your car is in park lock mode, all of the doors and the trunk will automatically lock when you depress the brake pedal and shift your vehicle out of P. You can manually set park lock mode with a few easy steps: 1. Engage the parking brake. 2. Make sure that the shifter is in the P position. 3. Make sure that the driver’s door is closed. 4. Turn the ignition to On. 5. Press the lock button on the master door lock switch (located on the driver’s door), and hold until you hear two clicks. This should take at least five seconds. 6. Turn the ignition to ACC. This step will need to be done within 20 seconds of step 5.
