The engine air filter is an important part of your truck. It cleans the air intake system and allows the engine to breathe fresh air. To change the air filter.

  1. Locate the mass airflow sensor and unplug it.

  2. Clean the area around the intake tube to prevent dirt from entering it.

  3. Unhook the three clamps that hold the airbox lid on.

  4. Lift the air filter element from the airbox and replace with new air filter element.

  5. Re-install cover intake tube and mass airflow sensor.
