Cant get drum back on Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car? 2001 Honda [Odyssey](/topics-odyssey/) Changed shoes but drum won't go back on Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Odyssey yourself? What have you tried so far? Adjusting adjuster thought bleeding them might help Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? No Thanks

Its possible the parking brake cables are hung up. Make sure the pedal isnt pushed in at all then see if you can pull the cables out farther where they attach to the levers on the shoe assembly

Still drum won't fit over shoes

That wont matter. Recheck assembly and if the shoes are correct from Honda

How do I display the trip A/B feature?
Your truck has a Base Message Center that keeps track of your vehicle's system functions. You can use this message center to display your vehicle's information and features. The Trip A/B feature logs the distance traveled for different trips. To...
Alternator not charging battery
It sounds like one of your cables is corroded or shorted out. If the connection is not strong between the alternator and battery the car will die while driving and be unsafe. Until the repair is performed, caution is recommended....
gears shift but at a longner rate and the car is revving between 2 and 3 rpm's while driving
If you have not serviced the transmission within the last 60,000 miles, you may want to try that. I recommend you have a shop drain the transmission, remove the pan, and replace the fluid and filter. I prefer doing that...
My car jerks when I accelerate
This may be a sign of a dirty or failing mass air flow sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/mass-airflow-sensor-replacement). The mass air flow sensor reads the air intake as it is mixed with fuel prior to being injected into the motor. When this fails,...
Car loses some engine power when the blower is turned on.
A minor loss of power when the fan is engaged is probably due to the air conditioning compressor. When the air conditioning, or the heater, is switched on, it activates the compressor. The light squeal is most likely coming from...
air con fan is very loud
It sounds like you could be having an issue with your A/C fan (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/ac-condenser-fan-replacement). The A/C fan is responsible for keeping the engine cool when the A/C is on. When the A/C is running, the engine will create more heat...
Our 1995 Isuzu Rodeo has black smoke from the tail pipe and it is chugging and we think it is the oxygen sensors. Could it be something else?
Hi there. There could be an issue with the fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator, or the spark plugs. Check the spark plugs and see if they are wet with fuel. Black smoke is a sign of excessive burning fuel. Check...
The Nissan Altima is stuck in Park and one mechanic is say it is fuses in the Junction Box or replace the Shift solenoid.
Hi there. I'd say about 90 percent of the time, issues with the shifter not working correctly are related to debris or other obstructions trapping the spring to the shift lock to allow the shifter to move from park to...
In my 2016 Nissan Altima, what are the fuel lines that run underneath the car under driver's side.
Hello. You will have two brake lines, a pressurized fuel line, and an evaporative emissions line. The smaller metal lines are the brake fluid lines and the other are fuel system lines.
