Hi. Yesterday when I drove for about 40 minutes I put the reverse on a Hyundai Santa fe 2004 and I heard a weird noise. The car has 170000 miles, I bought it a month ago, I don't know if the previous owners have ever change the transmission fluid. The question is :Is it better to change the transmission fluid now or is it pointless?

My car has 170000 miles.
