Q: Having trouble starting my car after it sits for a long period of time

So once my 2000 fire-bird sits for a long period of time takes it numerous time to crank for it to turn on. Now I just got a brand new fuel pump installed in it so dont know what the issue is anymore. Any suggestion or tips would be greatly appreciated.

My car has 100000 miles.
