Q: Gear selector stuck

asked by on

The gear selector is stuck and won't allow the key to be removed, or start the car. It's showing that it's stuck in Sport's mode.

The shift cable may have come off of the shift selector, or the cable has broken. I recommend having a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, inspect your stuck gear selector to identify and quote the repairs needed.
