Q: Engine not turning over when starting.

asked by on January 07, 2016

Car won't start even with a jumpstart. The engine will not turn over when I try to start it.

The most common problem for the engine that will not crank (if the battery is okay) is the starter. I recommend that starter is checked for proper power getting to it from the battery and the ignition switch before replacing it.
