Q: Do I need a new intake manifold

asked by on

An outside mechanic noticed that there was a "worn leakage from actuator to tuning valve" and it could not be reconnected because if it. He said that the only fix was getting a whole new intake manifold, is this true and if so how much will it cost?

The intake manifold runner control does not come apart and is part of the intake manifold. you will need to replace it as an assembly. The parts and labor will have to be priced locally by contacting YourMechanic.
