Q: Code keeps saying bank two too lean and it is running hot when there is water in it.

asked by on March 05, 2017

First problem with code "bank two too lean" . My car doesn't want to go and the rpms gets really high. There is also white smoke and it feels like it's jumping at certain speeds. We have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pump relay, check valve for break booster (It was cracked causing a vacuum leak) and bank 2 sensor 1 O2 sensor. After about 50 miles the same code came up after replacing the O2 sensor. It is going a little better since changing the O2 sensor but is still getting high rpms, getting "stuck" at certain speeds, jumping and has white smoke. It also keeps running hot, we have replaced the water pump twice and thermostat (3×). I know there is a slow leak in the radiator but even when it is full of water it will run hot after about 5 miles. I stop and let it cool down then the same thing happens after another 5 or so miles.

My car has 198000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
