Q: Car stopped suddenly

asked by on September 16, 2016

Car stopped in the middle of the road and shows indicator light.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there, thanks for writing in. In order to properly diagnose, we will need additional information such as any symptoms the car had prior to stopping, if any. Also, what kind of indicator light is on? And what type of vehicle this is (make, model, engine and transmission type). I recommend having one of our certified automotive technicians from YourMechanic come to your home or office to inspect, diagnose, and repair the issue.
