Q: Car knocking and slow

asked by on

My car is knocking when I drive it, and I can't drive it fast. I think it's my motor.

There is a recall from the manufacturer for the engine being damaged from metal that was not fully removed during assembly process. This causes the metal to get into the main bearings and rod bearings and will produce the knock you describe. I recommend contacting the manufacturer to see if your vehicle is still under the recall.
