Q: Cadillac CTS cruise control not working

asked by on

Cruise just stop working after oil change.

My car has 135000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there. Usually an oil change will not impact the cruise control system. Newer cars use a fully electronic setup to maintain speed and may be able to maintain speed and distance behind the car in front of you. These systems are controlled through the vehicle’s computer or ECU (electronic control unit). Due to the complexity of these systems, it’s important to have a professional mobile mechanic complete a cruise control not working inspection.
