Hello,
Welcome to Just Answer
My name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I've been an automotive engineer since 1996 and together we're going to solve this issue.
I understand that having your trusted vehicle let you down can be frustrating as it rarely occurs at a convenient time, however I will do my best to either help you make the repairs yourself or at least understand the issue so you know what is involved.
can you please tell me the exact code number that you're scan tool is showing?
as you say you have checked for spark and its there but a faulty crank sensor would usually mean there's no spark at all ?
if your OBD scan tool that can do monitoring then plug that it and crank the engine to see if you get an engine speed / rpm signal flagging up, if you don't then replace the crank sensor

Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.
Hi there! There are a few possible causes for your concern. Your engine needs several things in order to run properly. Fuel from the fuel tank, spark from the ignition system to ignite the fuel, and pressure in the cylinders...
A Check Engine Light could mean hundreds of different things. The first thing I would recommend is to have a qualified professional inspect the Check Engine Light (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection), they will use an OBD2 code reader to find which code has...
If you have replaced the parts that you've mentioned then have the steering sway bar links and ball joints (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-ball-joint-front) checked for binding. If you just had the tires changed using a different brand from what you previously used before...
The problem is most likely a bad cooling fan clutch which is not turning fast enough at idle. When you also rev the engine it increases the fan and water pump. Check to see if the fan clutch passes the...
Fuses are over current protection devices which means that you either have a short to ground (possibly intermittent) somewhere in the circuit or enough added resistance in the circuit that the current drawn by the pump is enough to blow...
If your vehicle is equipped with an idle air control valve or the throttle body is very dirty, these situations can caused the vehicle to stall. The idle air control valve will allow air to enter the engine when the...
Hi there. You would have to drain the engine oil out of the oil pan, put the plug back in the oil pan, and remove the oil pan bolts to take the pan off. Once the pan is off, you...
To identify the cause of poor operation like that you are describing, the cylinder firing patterns have to be looked at on a scope. That diagnostic reveals whether the issue is fuel or ignition related and also which cylinders are...
