I was replacing my 25A radio fuse on the fuse box of my 2004 Pontiac grand prix. Normally, Each prong of the fuse makes contact with a small metal piece in the pair of sockets of the fuse. I accidentally pushed inward, the metal piece that makes contact with the prongs of the 25A fuse. Since the fuse is no longer in contact with the metal piece inside th socket, there is no power to my radio and it will not work. I noticed there is a grid wires right next to the fuse box. Is there a way I can swap the radio wires into another spot on the grid, so I insert my 25A fuse into an empty socket on th fuse box???

That’s not an unusual thing to have happen, but it often means that the circuit in question has been overloaded for a while and the resulting heat has damaged the plastic that holds the little electrical contacts in place. somebody who’s good with wiring could move the circuit to another place in the panel, but that may just end up having the same thing happen if you don’t find the source of the overload. The correct way to solve this would be to have the fuse panel replaced. You can have this done at your convenience by contacting YourMechanic. They can send a technician to your home or office to check out your electrical problem and replace your fuse panel right there on the spot.
